The Dazzling Dan Story

Dazzling Dan puts on his skis,

to reach all the earth’s highest peaks.

Dan has put tracks on every mountain,

with a backpack stuffed to the brim,

as the snow swirls and flakes all around him.

Traversing in the night with the deepest snow,

can only be described as slow!

Alpine deliveries are not for the weak,

requiring both great skill and technique.

Using all his strength in every limb,

Dan skis to every house starting in the land of Grimm.

Even after the lights in the windows are dimmed,

he makes his deliveries while he softly sings,

at the last trail bottom of the day he waves a lantern,

then before you can say “golly gee wilakers”

Dan is off piste, on his way to other alpine villages.
