The Tres Bijou Story

A sparkling gem sits upon the tree,
ever glistening for all to see.
Always cheered by it’s sight,
This bijou twinkles throughout the night.
In winter when I rise from sleep,
or before I drift off to count the sheep,
I say a prayer to You my dear,
gently drawing bijou near,
I whisper so only You can hear,
all the words I long to have fill your ears.
