The Sea Waves Story

As the waves gently lap in my mind’s eye I gaze,
onto the sun filled horizon of many long summer days.
Loving memories of wading to and from sea to chaise,
ever lap, swell and caress me like the foam filled sea waves.
With my eyes closed I float and drift in this haze,
bobbing along to the sounds and the sun’s warming rays.
Each cresting wave calls me back to the relaxing laze,
of my favorite days, when the sun sits high and ablaze,
in all it’s glory for all to worship and praise.
I thank you God, for this is a blessing in so many ways,
and the beauty and serenity you have created will ever amaze.
