Yerba Buena they would say, now San Francisco today,
has the oldest Chinatown and largest Japantown in the USA.
It was in San Fran under the hearts and wings of doves,
the flower children grew and flourished in the summer of love.
Here the rainbow flag was created and first flown with pride,
Ginsberg howled and Ferlinghetti and the City Lights shined.

techies built a valley and webbed out worldwide.
