The Fordie Story
This is the short story of a spotty frog whose nickname is Fordie.
He was born with long arms and legs which make him sporty.
This frog is a spry and spunky shorty.
He is the annual winner of the leap frog derby,
plus has won many other gold medals that number over forty.
However, sport is not this frog’s only glory.
While Fordie is both worldly and courtly,
he is most often described as sweet, laid-back and jolly,
and is the life of every party.
He has only admirers and friends, no enemies.
This frog is never haughty, rude or naughty.
Oh and did we mention,
Fordie has a predilection,
for all forms of confection.
His favorite foods are cookies, tortes
or anything with a sugary complexion,
which somehow never effects his frog-perfect midsection.
