I simply think of you.

A friend loyal and true,

and then smile as you would want me to.

On every calendar date,

 with memories in every tone and hue,

you fill my heart and mind’s eye view.

I miss you.

To you, and all those we call soul mates,

the dear ones we cannot duplicate,

the Dia de los Muertos we dedicate.

While paying tribute to the greats,
