you arrived with the change of the winds.
You were a glorious sight,
with splendid fluttering wings.
Too brief has been your stay,
but we are blessed that you have passed our way.
Chakaluka, embrace and kiss us once again,
my heart will forever call your name.
I wish our time together here would never end.
Life has been bright and full since you came.
I am changed forever by knowing you,
and will never be the same.
Your days were full and overflowing,
leaving all around you more alive and glowing,
but the winds once again are blowing,
the winds of change.
Chakaluka, too ethereal and beautiful are you.
The angels have dearly missed you,
and now they want to once again kiss you.
I wish that you could stay,
but having no voice can only say,
I am ever glad you came.
Ever thankful to have held you,
