The Out of the Blue Story

Many cheery vessels I see,

Happily bobbing on a bright blue sea.

Down below the seahorses dance with the fish,

Weaving through the grass and coral with a swish.

There is not a cloud in the sky;

The winds are low and so is the tide.

Quietly we gently glide and float,

United on our memories in a lovely boat.

I see your smiling face,

Enjoying your caring gaze,

And feel the warmth of the sun’s embrace,

As we sail to a familiar place,

All the while keeping pace

With the lively underwater steeplechase.

Every day whether asea or ashore,

I travel back without a sail or an oar,

And my spirits brighten and soar.

We are there once more,

Together in the place we both adore.
