The Gary D. Gator Story

Gary is an often misunderstood southern gentleman,
whose gentle demeanor is genuine.
While toothy like his relatives,
Gary is giving, caring and sensitive.
He is the ideal good gator representative.
As a lifelong herbivore and egalitarian,
he is friend to every fish, snake, turtle and pelican.
Every year during the Christmas holidays,
he travels through alleyways, bayous and highways,
making surprise deliveries along the way.
This good deed doer travels dressed as his idol Santa,
spreading goodwill is his mission and mantra.
Approaching with a toothy smile and nimble footed gait,
most who meet him are shocked and then amazed.
He politely introduces himself and explains his aim,
adding that he has a gift that bears their name.
All fears and fright are quickly appeased,
and he always leaves to words of praise,
bidding adieu and Happy Holidays!
