The Peppermint Sweeps Story
Peppermint Sweep’s smiling face says it all.
This snowman is a jolly fellow made of three balls,
moustache trimmed and mellow,
with a body that shakes like jello,
when he waves his broom to say “hello.”
He attends every holiday stroll,
calling out greetings to one and all.
He fills everyone he sees with glee and Christmas esprit.
He is a sweet soul who once had buttons of coal,
til one day Santa called in the midst of a snow squall.
Santa said “while the Christmas season days are fleeting,
everyday Sweeps embodies the holiday’s true meaning.”
He then assigned Peppermint Sweeps to a special role,
Snow Ambassador to the North Pole.
Santa waved his hand and all of a sudden,
Sweeps was trimmed with candy stripes and buttons.
The snowman’s eyes sparkled and he felt whole,
and forever more that is how he has rolled!
