The Papa Jaipur Story
Papa Jaipur hails from Jaipur, India.
This was his home until he became a young man,
and began to roam.
Traveling the globe in his embroidered robe,
he carries only a small hand-held load.
Bundled in a gold cord,
he has a notebook and ledger,
which he writes and draws in daily at his leisure.
There are also two volumes of his poems,
and an atlas of world maps,
so one day he can perhaps retrace his steps and
find his way back.
