Who sells fruit and verbena,
from the docks of the marinas.
A Palenquera through and through,
like the generations before her,
this hard working entrepreneur,
is a flora lover and connoisseur.
Loved and revered by her peers,
there is no other work she would prefer.
She has graced the pages of many a tourist calendar,
and is the pride of the mice population in Colombia.
