The Ginger Glide Story
This train car is named Ginger Glide,
where all of your Letters to Santa reside,
between your mailbox and Santa’s side.
Ginger Glide is Santa’s treasure and pride,
for all of your hopes and wishes are enveloped inside.
When the air is crisp and a bit nippy outside,
the first car of the year is loaded and starts it’s long ride.
“All aboard” the elves toot the horn and cry,
while Santa’s helpers telegram the Pole in Morse to notify,
“the train has left the station—this is Bona Fide!”
The train glides the tracks the reindeer trot along side,
acting as both guards and guides,
not resting or stepping aside until each car arrives,
and the precious cargo is safely delivered inside.
Then the elves keep a watchful eye,
while the mail is sent down the magic sorting slide,
into bins labeled with every zip code worldwide.
When the first Ginger Glide arrives at the Pole we realize,
the Christmas deliveries are not far behind!
