Elephant Tales's Story
There are many tales of the beloved elephant,
all loving told about this animal’s fine qualities and intelligence.
Steadfast in their ways, with stamina which lasts for days,
everyone who has met one has only praise.
Their large ears are able to hear whatever you say,
on any given day, from up to 2-6 miles away.
They outdo all land creatures with their measurements,
with round girths and pillar leg legs that are heaven sent,
so at sight their strength and power is evident.
Their minds and communication skills are excellent.
They are gifted with not only long memories but longevity,
with life spans that take them well into their sixties or seventies.
They are also a well known symbol of good luck,
especially when their trunks are up.
As a sign of benevolent power and protection,
elephants are very loving and loyal with their affections.
They are known to rejoice and happily greet long lost friends,
but they are also an animal you can deeply offend,
they will hold grudges and leave no loose ends,
but treated right, on an elephant you may always depend.
